PlusOne with MS in Climate Science and Engineering
Overview
Accelerated Master’s degrees allow students to accelerate the attainment of the master’s degree by applying graduate credits taken as an undergraduate toward both the undergraduate and graduate degrees. Current students apply to enroll in the Accelerated Master’s Program.
With the PlusOne program, students attain their bachelor’s degree followed by a PlusOne year to complete the master’s degree.
Below are the eligible undergraduate majors available to pursue a PlusOne pathway with a master’s degree in Climate Science and Engineering. Also, review the Curriculum Guides and the Accelerated Master’s links for further details, including program policies and procedures, as well as how to Apply.

Graduate Course Sharing
Any graduate course that contributes to the MS degree requirements may be shared and used to satisfy both a student’s undergraduate and graduate program requirements. The pre-requisites of all graduate courses must be considered when selecting courses for course sharing; one should also consider whether the graduate course qualifies within the undergraduate program as a Technical Elective or a General Elective. Students should coordinate with their undergraduate Academic Advisor to confirm which BS degree requirements will be fulfilled with shared graduate courses.
