BESS: Black Engineering Student Society
The mission of the National Society of Black Engineers is to excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.
As the Northeastern chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), BESS has been a cornerstone of support and community for minority-engineering students for over 50 years. Founded in April of 1974, BESS is committed to providing academic support, professional development, and social engagement for engineers to ensure that they stay in the field.
