NUITE Student Chapter Named District Student Chapter of the Year
Northeastern University’s Institute of Transportation Engineers (NUITE) Student Chapter was recognized at the ITE Annual District Meeting as the district’s Student Chapter of the Year. This award reflects the excellent work the student chapter did in fostering ITE’s objectives, from serving as a liaison connecting students to transportation and traffic engineering professionals, to promoting awareness of the key topics of interest in the field. This was the first time that NUITE won the award. The chapter is led by Past-President Keith Hall (Class of 2012), incoming president Douglas Halpert (Class of 2013), and faculty advisor Prof. Dan Dulaski.
