In-Vento 2020 Online Event Featuring CEE PhD Graduate of the Wind Engineering Research Lab
The Italian Association for Wind Engineering (ANIV) and the wind engineering group of Politecnico di Milano, Italy will organize the IN-VENTO 2020 online event, which will be held on September 7, 2020. This event will also replace the 2020 Conference of the ANIV.
This online event will feature presentations delivered by PhD students from several leading universities, who recently completed their dissertations in the field of wind engineering.
Presenters will include Northeastern’s recent Civil and Environmental Engineering PhD graduate Viet LE (photo) from Northeastern’s WERG (Wind Engineering Research Group). The agenda of the one-day event is:
- 9:00 – 13:00 (CEST) – PhD Session 2020, managed by ANIV-G (the group of young researchers within ANIV). The program with the description of Le’s presentation may also be found here.
- 14:00 – 18:15 (CEST) – IN-VENTO 2020 Online event. ANIV award ceremony and panel discussion.

Events are offered for free and promoted by ANIV (website). Professor Luca Caracoglia, Viet Le’s advisor, has been very active within this organization and is currently part of the Steering Committee.
