David Bedoya (Ph.D., 2009) wins 2013 BSCES Clemens Herschel Award

Congratulations to Northeastern University alumnus and Civil and Environmental Engineering part-time faculty member David Bedoya, who won the 2013 Clemens Herschel Award from the Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers. The award recognizes an individual for publishing papers that are useful, commendable, and worthy of acknowledgement. Dr. Bedoya has published numerous papers on his projects on hydraulic/hydrologic modeling in Cambridge, Somerville and Waltham, Massachusetts and has also led field programs in Cambridge correlating wet flow in storm drains with particulate phosphorous movement. Dr. Bedoya received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Lleida in Spain, and his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Northeastern University in 2009.
