CEE Students Compete in ASCE New England Regional Concrete Canoe Competition
CEE Students competed at the ASCE sponsored New England Regional Concrete Canoe Competition, which was recently held at UMass Dartmouth. The Northeastern canoe, “Bottomless,” at 270 pounds and seventeen feet long, successfully survived transportation and competition, taking fifth place overall. The Concrete Canoe competition is designed to provide students an opportunity to gain leadership skills and practical experience by designing, fabricating, and racing a concrete canoe. Congratulations to the NU Concrete Canoe team for their success!
