PhD Student Receives Best Paper Finalist Award at 2025 AIAA SciTech

Negar Asadi, PhD ’26, interdisciplinary engineering, under the supervision of CEE/Khoury Assistant Professor Fatemeh Ghoreishi, received the Best Paper Finalist Award at the 2025 AIAA SciTech Forum in Orlando, Florida. Her paper titled “Surrogate Modeling for Efficient Uncertainty Analysis of Coupled Multidisciplinary Systems” presents a novel framework that enhances the accuracy and efficiency of uncertainty quantification in complex engineering systems. This recognition highlights her contributions to advancing computational methods for uncertainty analysis by leveraging machine learning and surrogate modeling to improve efficiency and reliability in multidisciplinary engineering systems.
